GS Hood Insert Hardware Kit (Factory Bezels)
24 Pc Kit gives you the proper hardware to install your Factory GS/GSX Hood Inserts Fits 1970 - 1972   Kit includes 8 of the following . . . .
  • Seal Plate to Insert Bezel 
  • Insert Bezel to Hood 
  • Insert to Bezel
  Note: The Factory Bezels use a # 8 Screw to mount to the Hood. The Reproduction Bezels made by TPP use a # 10 Screw.   Assembly Tip: We grind the very tip off the "Insert Bezel to Hood" screws just to make sure they don't poke through the Bezel! Install the Nuts with caution! Use some assembly lube! Do not force them as the studs can break! They're made out of Pot Metal and will snap off if you force the nuts on. If you need to open up the nut slightly place it in a deep well socket upside down and insert a tapered punch in with a hammer to "spread" the threads a bit! Again, do NOT force them on!     Stage 1 Restoration has the most hardware of any vendor for the 1970 – 1972 GS / GSX & Skylark Models. Reproduction Hood Inserts for GS & GSX Hoods Fits  1970, 1971 & 1972  (Correct for 1972)       Note: This set will fit all 3 Years however because of the Triangular Shaped Ram Air assembly found on 1972 Hoods these are correct for 1972 Only. Will Fit on 1970 & 1971 Hoods but not 100% Correct in appearance.   Please Read . . .  The last batch of these we received had some "issues" with the finish. If you want a set we can still order them in. Call for details & photos. We are NOT the manufacture of these. We carry the same ones you'll get at any other dealer so be aware of this if you purchase these elsewhere! If you purchase a set you are agreeing to the potential paint flaws therefore they are not returnable. Just being up front with this product! These are listed as "back order" but we can order them in within a couple of days. (We no longer stock them due to the paint issues)   .

GS Hood Inserts (1971)
Reproduction GS & GSX Hood Inserts for the 1971 Models     Note:  The manufacture of these has had an issue with the Mounting Studs breaking during transit.   We see this from time to time on our shipments as well (From them to us) Once I receive them I repackage them to avoid the issue however we request they check them prior to shipping to us but we still seem to get some from time to time with a broken stud (usually only on 1 of the 4 corners)  We communicated this issue to them but it seems as though the issue isn't being addressed. IF this is something you do not want to deal with please do not order them. As mentioned we request that they inspect them prior to shipping but we STILL seem to end up with some from time to time and it's not an issue they'll cover under "Warranty".  These are NOT reproduced by anybody else so these are all we have access to.  If you're willing to chance it then you can be assured we'll repack them better than they arrive to us. But if you do not want to deal with the issue then I ask that you do not order them as we don't have a way to warranty the issue at this time. I apologize but just being up front with this part . . . .   The Mounting Studs are also pretty short so we recommend using a Push Nut to install them.

GS Hood Seal Plates – 1972 (Discounted)!
I have a few sets of 1972 GS/GSX Hood Seal Plates that have some slight scuff marks on them and therefore they’re discounted! This is pretty minor and they may not show up in the photos. The finish appears to be a tad shinier on one side as well but only one side shows once they’re mounted. These are New Reproductions and normally Retail for $249.00 These are reduced to $149.95 Per Set! (Plus actual shipping to your door) Only a handful of these available at this price!     .

GSX Front Spoiler
UPDATE: We are no longer stocking these Spoilers or having them drop shipped. The main reason is the cost of shipping. There is not enough Profit in these to overcome the shipping fee's to get them here. We are no longer "Drop Shipping" these due to the chance of damage during shipping. Long story short . . .  the risk of damage during shipping is to high and the cost of shipping these back and forth during a warranty situation greatly out numbers the potential profit. These are shipped in a Cardboard box with little or no cushioning from the manufacture so we're at there mercy with this particular part. We do stock all the other items related to mounting this product if needed. . . Reproduction Front GSX Spoiler made of ABS Plastic Fits 1970 - 1972 Skylark, GS & GSX . . Mounting Hardware also available!  (Mounting Hardware Link) . Also, please note:  Because these are made from ABS Plastic they look pretty nice "out of the box" but they are not "Prepped and/or Painted". You should plan on some body work and paint prior to installation.     .

1970 - 1972 Front Spoiler & Baffle Hardware Mounting Kit This Kit has been assembled following Buick’s Front Spoiler Mounting Schematic Kit includes the following per the Factory Schematic:
  •  6) Mounting Bolts (Phosphate)
  •  6) Mounting Lock Nuts (Phosphate)
  •  12) Mounting Washers (Phosphate)
  •  3) Self Tapping Hex Screws & Washers
  •  1) 1/4" Self Tapping Hex Screw (For Center Brace)
  •  1) Carriage Bolt, Nut &  Lock Washer (For Center Brace)
  •  6) Baffle Mounting Clips (Phosphate)
  This is all that is needed to mount a Front Spoiler and Baffle.
