This kit gives you enough Vacuum Hose and Factory Routing instructions to properly route your hoses for the Thermo Vac Switch as well as the TCS (Solenoid) Kit Includes the following:

This kit is designed for the 1970 - 1972 Buick V8 Engines Our Vacuum Tubing is consistent with the size Buick used on there 350 & 455 Engines. Photo below shows our Tubing next to a piece of factory tubing (For size comparison) There are a lot of other retailers selling Vacuum Tubing that is much thicker than what the factory used.

Note: We do stock the Correct Chrome Hardware for these as well. . Note # 2: Be aware of the Wrong Hardware on the market for these Valve Covers! There are some "Metric Headed" bolts on the market. They'll work but the Bolt Heads are Metric! Also, there are 2) versions of Chrome Valve Covers on the market. These are the CORRECT ones for the 1970 - 1972 GS & GSX! .

This is the short shaft 455 Water Pump typically used on 1970 Models as well as 1971/72 without A/C or Stage 1 Option. . This Pump is generally used with the following 1970 Pulleys: Crank - GM Number 1375143 Water Pump - GM Number 1375146 OR if used on 1971/72 Engines then generally used with the following Pulleys: Crank Pulley - GM Number 1235779 Water Pump Pulley - GM Number 1238156 Fits 400, 430 & 455 Be sure to check your Pulley Part numbers because in most cases you cannot mix and match these! As mentioned in the description this is the Short Shaft Pump which will not work with Long Shaft Pulleys! .

This Pump is generally used with the following Pulleys: (Some exceptions) Crank Pulley – GM Number 1235777 Water Pump Pulley – GM Number 1235778 Fits 400, 430 & 455 (Correct for 1971 & 1972 455 engines) Be sure to check your Pulley Part numbers because in most cases you cannot mix and match these! As mentioned in the description this is the Long Shaft Pump which will not work with Short Shaft Pulleys!
