If you have a Turbo 400 Trans this is the Bracket used to hold the Kickdown Switch in place
Fits 1968 – 1972 Skylark, GS & GSX

Please Note: If you’re converting to a TH400 car from a TH350 car please keep in mind the Gas Pedal Arm is different. The TH350 version has an extra “arm” on it for the Kickdown Cable. That may interfere with the TH400 Kickdown Mechanism. (Shown in Photo below)

Photo below shows the TH350 Gas Pedal with the additional arm for the kickdown cable.
A TH400 Gas Pedal assembly does not have the additional arm since the kickdown is controlled by an electronic switch.
